Makeup Artist Abigail Frederick, Who Died Alongside Jnr Pope in Boat Mishap, Laid to Rest in Akwa Ibom


The late makeup artist Abigail Frederick, who tragically lost her life alongside popular actor Junior Pope in a boat mishap, has been laid to rest in Akwa Ibom State. Abigail's remains, initially buried by the riverside in Anambra State, were exhumed and transported back to her home state for a proper burial.



The 24-year-old makeup artist and four others, including Junior Pope, drowned in the Anam River in Anambra State. Their untimely deaths left their families, friends, and fans devastated.



With the assistance of Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Abigail's body was exhumed and transported to Akwa Ibom for a befitting burial. The governor's involvement in ensuring that Abigail received a proper burial was commended by many on social media.




The burial ceremony, attended by family, friends, and well-wishers, was a somber affair as people paid their last respects to Abigail. Several social media users expressed their condolences and praised Governor Eno for his swift action and support for the deceased's family.
